Welcome to the Transport Tycoon Screenshot Competition.

Rules of the competition

• This competition is for screenshots from all forms of Transport Tycoon or Transport Tycoon Deluxe (Ie. OpenTTD and TTDPatch)
  Nominations will be accepted for the 3 weeks prior to voting. Voting will last for 1 week
  In the event that one user receives a nomination for more than one of their screenshots than it shall be up to the user to decide which screenshot should be entered. In the event that there one screenshot has more nominations than the other then the screenshot with the most nominations will be forwarded for voting.
  Users may nominate their own screenshots but only one nomination per user is permitted each round. Users may change their nomination via PM, repeat changes of nomination will not be permitted.
  Nominations will only be accepted for screenshots that have been posted after the date posted for each round of the competition. A date will be issued for each round of the competition

How to Make a Nomination

• Nominations for screenshots will only be accepted by forum Private Message
  The PM should detail who posted the screenshot, when it was posted and a direct link to the post that contains the shot. If the post contains more than one shot the nomination must specify which shot is being nominated. (eg. Shot number 2). If a screenshot is not specified then the nomination will be discarded.
  nominations received after the deadline for nominations will be submitted for the next round of the competition.

September competition.

Nominations are now being accepted for this month's round. Screenshots can be nominated from any time, so if you have a favourite shot out there that you think didn't get the recognition it deserved nominate it for the competition. See the rules about nomination. Nominations will be accepted until the 30th of September for this round and voting will commence from the 1st of October.

No, I believe orudge increased the limit to 15, so it doesn't matter

Hell I nominated it but didn't vote for it, I think it's a good thing to not necessarily vote for the one you nominated but to have a look at the others aswell because it might be that someone sniffed out a "better" shot than you found. The idea of nomination is to get entries.

Pleased with the number of votes too. That's always good.

October Competition

The same rules apply as last month but I will only accept screenshots that were posted by a user after the 1st August 2007.
You have until Sunday 4th November to nominate a screenshot. That means, get playing the game people and post some screenshots in the threads!
