Sorry for digging up such an old topic, but I recently came across something that amazed me. By sheer coincidence I stumbled upon a Japanese version on Ebay, which I didn't know existed. (I had to buy it, of course!)
Did anyone of you folks know about this one? I managed to get it running on ePSXe; it seems to be identical to the European PS version, just translated to Japanese. Published by Unbalance/Itochu in August 1998, i.e., one year after the original PS port.
That cover art, though!
Surprisingly, there's quite a bit of info on it on the internet:

There's even a disk image for download on the first website above!

Re: Transport Tycoon on PSX
I have a vague feeling that I was aware of it, but maybe it's the Japanese DOS version I'm thinking of!

Er, Windows version, rather, of TTD.
Re: Transport Tycoon on PSX
Turns out a Japanese DOS version actually DOES exist! Of TTO, though, not TTD! It's version 1.06.116. Did anyone know about this one yet?

That's interesting - incredible how after all these years we can still find new things out about TT!
