Trying to add patch files on MacOs

I downloaded patch files through the forum but cannot find a way to add them. There was a link provided that went to the wiki page but the page was not there anymore does anyone have a link or knows how to add the patch files. The patch is called Enhanced Viewport. The main thing I am trying to do is zoom out further.

The page you are looking for was linked to the old wiki directory, which was changed a few years ago. If you go directly to https://wiki.openttd.org/ and search for the name of the page you should be able to find it.

Keep in mind, that many patches that are posted here are old and were created for older versions of the OpenTTD source code. The lines that the patch look for in the code may have changed, moved or been removed. You will need to be familiar with editing source code directly if the patch doesn't successfully take.
