Here's my latest saved game of SG-Transport (as requested by saibot :P)
I'm using pb_ukrs.grf (v2 - Will soon be v3) I am using OpenTTD V.0.4.8, + nightly R6616 IIRC

Just reached year 2500...

Here is my ongoing game...
Just reached the year 2500. :D

Note: this game requires TTDPatch nightly revision 1016 or more recent, with trace restriction turned on. The network will undergo an immediate and total gridlock without this.

Here are some taster screenshots of the scenario I am working on, It will use Pikka's fantastic UK Industries and UKRS, I have tried to make an interesting combination between hilly and flat, I used the Alps and the Low Countries as inspiration for this.

UKRS game that I've dumped in favour of a new shiny toy (read: development version of the AU Set, not yet in the public domain), but also because the pathfinder managed to send about half my trains off course all at once (I exxaggerate, and it's far easier to blame the pathfinder than crappy network design*)

Have a look, have a try fixing everything up if you want to. Uses UKRS, UKRSI, av8, HOV's development version, etc etc.

*Just like IRL, it was a case of "holy crap this line is massibly underserviced", so a cheap duplication and adding of a thousand new trains seemed to fix the problem, except when done en-masse. Hell, parts of the network are still using tracks from before the cold war, with old signals and old stock and everything... So yeah, it's a pretty realistic savegame in that regard...

i will try my best

EDIT:
OMG! 20 junction tiles for PBS junctions!?! yes it IS bad layout that makes the pathfinder confused and so trains get lost

They track on my local line was laid in 1921, so yes very like real life, the trains were built in the 90's and the signalling is from the 60's, all of a bit of a mix up that guarantees poor reliability...

OK I had the urge to start a new game again, this time using the UKRS and UKRSI.

Below attached is the Huntburg scenario, which I use for this.

It comes in two flavours, once with and once without industries.
the one with industries is made for use with the UKRS and UKRSI.

The land is rough with a few lakes a one dominant river in a deep valley. starting off might be a bit of a challenge, but once the early years are over, you should be able to make good money.

Enjoy.

Hi,
I've made an Iceland scenario. I've tried be as realistic as possible.
The scenario has original townnames. It has industries, but I don't know if
I'd put them on the right place.

Climate: Alpine
Starting year: 1921

Futhermore I really want to thank you guys, who contribute to these forums and everyone who helps. I've been looking here for a very long time and I want to contribute something to.

Thanks.

Enjoy!

when does the trial version of the Iceland Scenario expire? :D :D

I believe that was just added to the images by a piece of trail software he used to convert the images.
The scenario itself should never expire.

You're right Lakie, thanks.
As I read you guys want to see .png images,
I converted it with a graphics converter which
I just downloaded. It's a trial version and I can't
help it that there is text in the images.
I need to figure out how everything works here
and comments on the scenario are welcome. :)

Thanks.

To convert images, use irfanview.
It's free and easy to use.

You should try The GIMP. There are links around on the forums somewhere. Give it a search. Otherwise Google it.

by DanMacK
Hey all,

New scenario here. "Highlands" is set among a large archipelago of islands. The high peaks and challenging terrain will have you wrking for your money :D

Must Haves...
Pikka's UK Houses, Viaduct and UKRSI. Also recommended are Born_Acorn's UK Road Set and the UKRS.

Enjoy :D
