ill post a few screen shots of the game im running at the moment:
Its been a few years since watching this, and ive been trying to piece together each engine's routes etc. its not 100% accurate, but near enough!

Image
Barrow-in-Furness
You can see Gordon arriving at his station. Donald is there about to unload at the factory. Stepney takes the goods all the way to Tidmouth on the Main Line route

Image
Crovans Gate on the main line.
Busy junction here. Henry and Gordon stop here. James stops here with passengers, Percy with Mail along with all the towns on the Main Line. Donald takes Coal from Shen Ven mines and delivers it to the Power station just out of shot to the right of this picture. Skarloey branch line (narrow gauge) starts here, and goes to Glennock

Image
Duck on the Kirk Ronan branch line
He comes from Crovans Gate, stops at Rolf's Castle, and then Kirkronan, then direct to Crovans Gate. Quite a money earner here actually!

Image
Duke on the Culdee Fell Mountain Railway

Image
Killdane
Gordon and Henry usually pass eachother here as its roughly their half way point which looks nice.
James and Percy stop here, and I also have Oliver stop here from Ffarquar and Kirk Machan. Its quite a busy route here to say its a small station, being on the route for Coal and Goods.

Image
Wellsworth
Edward stops here from Brendam (I read somewhere that at peak times he goes up to Tidmouth to help out on the main line), although its too busy right now to have him slowing both Henry and Gordon down.

Image
Brendan Mines
You can see Edward's branch at the top, going to Brendan. Here I have 2x Diesel's coming from the mines to unload onto this interchange where Mavis takes it to Brendan Steel Works. Im in the process of getting Derek to bring some Coal from near Ffarquar

Tell me what you think!

The small towns in the mountains are designed to be part of the Culdee Mountain Railway. However, all of the pictures are nice.

EDIT: The release of V2.0 will be delayed for one week. I've been extremely busy lately, but I'll have some time to work on it now.

Hi. Looking really forward to the release of version 2.0. It should be even better with the track system. I intend to reinstall Loco this afternoon and get ready for its release. Keep up the good work and thanks for your time and effort in updating the scenario.

Hi there, i'm a newbie on this forum but have played TTD a lot in the old days. Now i'm playing Locomotion and my eye felt on this scenario. I see that you are maken a 2.0 version of this scenario. It's been delayed a few times now, do you have any idea when you have it ready?

For now i just play the 1.4 version, but i don't have a clue were all the tracks have to go to.

Good luck with finishing the 2.0 version!

I haven't been playing Locomotion much lately, so I can't place a date on it.

It was a cold day in a small town in Pennsylvania.

Having recovered from a cold, Train-a-Mania decided to start work again to improve the Island of Sodor.

So far, the Isle of Man is done, as well as basic ground work. The current project is major terrain features (mountains, valleys, and rivers).

The release should be in a month or two.

EDIT: I have to take the time to thank all of you who have commented and said thank you. I like to know that the work I do is appreciated.

EDIT 2: I have run into a problem. Originally, in V1, the sea was too low, so I had to raise the rivers. In V2, I tried to fix this, so I started out by raising the sea by 1. However, when I started to work on the rivers again, I realized that I had originally raised the rivers by 2 levels. The rivers must be at the raised height.

The point being:

Would it look strange/would anybody mind if I had the rivers raised again in V2? This means that ships cannot travel from rivers to the sea.

I get an error in a red message box when I try to load the scenario.

Unable to load saved game...
Missing object data, ID:
SND_CL42/817D8211C5224B07

Anybody have any idea what's wrong?

P.S. Downloaded version 1.4 to Scenarios folder and added Earth Slopes mod to ObjData folder. Running game patched to version 1.76.

EDIT: I figured out my problem. You need also to download the other stuff from the "EDIT 7 (12/23/06):" section of Train-a-Mania's first post in this thread!!!

At this point, I must confess I don't know if/when I'll re-release it. I'm just not that interested in Locomotion these days.

Sorry for bumping this topic, but I downloaded this a few days ago and I'm having problems..

I downloaded the train pack, but I don't know how to get it on the map...I only get the regular engines.

Do I have to edit the map in Scenario Editor?

Yes, you do have to edit it. One more thing, Why did you ask if you need to edit it when you could just try it yourself and not be lazy!

Sorry, just wanted to make sure.

---

Anyway, I'll post screens of a game I'm playing right now.

Here is Percy on his way to Barrow to drop off his fuel, James is leaving with passengers and you can see Stepney on the lower left on his way with passengers.
Image

Here is Gordon and Henry meeting each other at a confusing twist of tracks at Crusby. From here, Gordon goes on towards Barrow and Henry towards Knapford
Image

I've recreated the Mid-Sodor Railway using Duke, Peter Sam and Sir Handel. The rest of the Narrow Gauge Engines are further up mountain.
Image

While Gordon and Henry handle the main line, and James and Stepney handles the Barrow Line, Toby handles the line from Knapford to Tidmouth.
Image

If anyone could tell me what I could do with the unused engines - because I'm stuck as far as this - any help would be great.
