ur creations are astounding and got me to fire up openttd again. been years i'm following mod development and these surely are tempting enough for this 'new era'.
a few questions and remarks got me to want to post here, and i thought i made a screenshot of the first issue but it only captured the map lol...
So...here r some combined but serous questions:
1st, the bank model that got split up when on the side of a slope where one end is lower than the other, posted a bit above and replied it was fixed, seems to still exist.
At least, i got the newgrf thru ingame bananasdownload 2 weeks ago orso, and the slope was the other way around (to teh right) than on the picture posted here on the forum.
One of the diners, think iirc one with dark walls, suffered a similar fate. When on a slope when one end is lower, the mesh splits and looks cut up.
i could also add here; some villages have 2 firestations. Maybe they can get a tag to be limited to 1 unless in cities? i know some buildings have those tags, f.i. churches or stadiums.
2nd, i wondered if the industry and vehicles would still work good with the 'vanilla' industry chain and the 'better town roads layouts' too, not just 3x3, and had to wait till about 1970 to see it come in action. Pity it doesn't just include a 'vanilla' industry model replacement, cuz 'd like that and do'nt always wanna play on too extensive industry chains, i'm more into the slow town development of the game, most of the time. Do all the vehicles sets also work with the simple industry chain? And would u provide an only 'vanilla industry replacement model set'?
3rd The industry replacement seems challenging and interesting, tho bit hard to make out what is the base resource to start out with. f.I. for many things u seem to need already refined materials that aren't around or can't be made yet, or skilled workers and they won't come without high schools. high schools only spawn rarely. Some of the base resources should be supplied more and some of the final manufacturing industries a bit less?
Also, as exampled in FIRS i believe, all industries should produce anyway, but less and get boosted if the required input gets supplied and demand satisfied. That way no chains or industries are broken cuz one of the resources is too far away or simply not around. Maybe this wouldn't work for all industries, but at least most could benefit from it.
4th and final, i tried for now to add the plugs for traffic and used streetcars3 ai in my first run, but could u/someone refer to or put out a detailed (point for point please lol) plan of how to get those fine automobiles to appear in my cities. I realise it can't be hard, just want to be sure, & know i gotten it to work once long ago on a different version, this time it doesnt seem to want to budge into motion.
pitifully i started 32bits on a jgrpp-0.32 which lacks a bunch of extra plugs and options, i used to prefer 1.7.1-RC1 which had the free buldings placement.
Which nighty or other version would be advised to be use today, preferably one that has more freedom to remove wrongly placed buildings and includes the free building placement tool?
Finally i just wanna commend on this awesome job and can't wait for the stations and other stuff u'r planning. Getting to bigger highrises (like the old 1001 building set, as i still use those mostoften, at a max once per city rate f.e.) or to a bunch of ships or harbor infrastructure (as these are more rarely touched upon) would be awesome.
Hope u can keep up this tremendous endeavor.

the bistro whose mesh split up was not the one with the black walls, but the other one.
both the police station and high school turn up very little while prisons and universities are too plentiful.
all r looking gorgeous, but i hope the industry chain will be streamlined and improved.

Also, we used "Simplenton's City Builder" in Multiplayer and we could not buy/fund industry. It always said, it must be placed in towns. But we couldnt place it anywhere.
Also, we werent able to build airports.
Is it your mod or Simplenton's City Builder which doesnt allow it?

About the airports, Real Industries does not touch them, it must be something else that is causing it.

Two other things:
in screenshot 1 you can see, that "Car Dealer" (also applies for all other "town"-industry, as you can see on the "industry-map") industries were not generated for the map.
What "parameter" are you using when creating a map so that Car Dealer and so on are available? And in 2nd screenshot you can see that funding Car Dealers (also applies for all other "town"-industry)s can only be funded/built in towns.
But how? I cannot fund these industries in towns either.

Car dealer it´s town related, it need a 3x3 place, the same for high school, hospital, police station, etc... So compete with them for a place on the map, make sure you have enough towns too.
Set the default town layout in advanced "settings" to 3x3 grid.

You need to choose a 3x3 block that is fully built, that is, with existing buildings and create the industry on the top tile.
