That too. :P

I'd like to release an update very soon, and some text strings have changed. Here's the updated english.lng (and the dutch.lng that needs an extra word or two translated, such as STR_NAME_HORSE_AND_RIDER). Again, if you'd like to see this grf in another language, post the translation here. Note that the "english.lng" is really American English, and that British English and Australian English are valid languages to translate to. :)

As you asked so nicely - English UK strings for you. I'd advise you to check that I've got the language ID correct. And I'm not fully happy with 'Breakdown Recovery Lorry', but it's more English than 'Tow Truck'. Anyone got any better suggestions?

Also included a slightly modified base language file - I've unified capitalisation throughout, changed one instance of 'Horse and Rider' to 'Horse & Rider', and corrected what seems to be a typo by changing 'Determined' to 'Determines' in one of the parameter strings.

I think "Breakdown Truck" is better

No worries. With reflection, I agree with Bob - Breakdown Truck is probably the best solution for British English. I'll let you make that change yourself though.

Great, thanks, but did you intent to leave STR_GRF_DESCRIPTION untranslated? It should probably get translated along with the rest...

Hi, do you need a german translation, too?
I hope so. :-)

I saw that you forgot to translate STR_AI_DEFAULT_SFX_DESC in your file.

Thanks again to all the translators! Version 0.4 released, available in all places where fine grfs are purveyed.

Changelog:

Code: Select all

- Added Horse & Rider (modified from eGRVTS sprites). Has a 3-frame animation and comes in company color and 3 random horse color variants.
Available from the 17th century until the 1930s or so.

- Split the two garbage truck models into two separate vehicles. The "Classic" model will retire around 1980.

- Fixed issues with action colored pixels in the non-CC variants of the garbage trucks.

- Added translations for Dutch, German, Polish, UK English, and AU English.

I had already fixed the ___ parts in my local dutch.lng before I compiled version 0.4, although I wonder if it is appropriate to use an ampersand "&" in dutch...

I'll change those for the next version. :)
