A picturesque scene unfolds before your eyes as you gaze at the front of this enchanting postcard. Dominating the frame is a magnificent old castle, proudly perched atop a gentle hill in the heart of a bustling city. The castle's weathered stone walls, adorned with ivy and moss, evoke a sense of history and mystery.

Thanks!
Sadly, the water colour is not a GRF, I just applied a filter to the shot to make it look postcard-y. It might be possible to create such a mod though, by changing the base tiles, however I don't think such colours even exist in the 8bpp DOS palette...

On vacation, I can finally relax from the constant work connected with the construction of railway lines, introducing trains and monitoring their economy :-D This year I made a trip to the Sasnovec castle, which was founded in the 13th century on a rocky hill originally as a guard castle of the lords of Sasnov. In the 15th century, it was taken over by the lords of Soběhrad and they began to transform it and its surroundings. The last time the original castle was modified into its present form was in the middle of the 19th century. After the reconstruction of the castle, the surrounding park was transformed into the Castle Garden, where the descendants of the original nobility of the lords of Soběhrad went for walks, but spectacular celebrations were also held here. Both the castle and the garden are still in the possession of the Soběhrad family, but a large part has been provided by the family for exhibition purposes, so crowds of tourists flock to the magnificent castle grounds. The family is planning to place a revolving auditorium in the Castle Garden, including facilities, so that various cultural events can be held here, especially evening theater performances.

"Santa Fu" is the local nickname for the largest jail in the city of Hamburg (official German name: "Justizvollzugsanstalt Fuhlsbüttel") and "hosts" many of the mobsters from the infamous St. Pauli red light district, although it is questionable if they truly enjoy this public service 8)

In the district town, at the beginning of the 20th century, a popular local doctor built a health center in his villa, which later became the basis for building the district hospital. The original hospital is left in the right corner and currently functions as a museum of healthcare and healing. The area was gradually expanded from the 1980s until it took on its current form.

As the bustling city of South Grondingville grew, the need for a new location for the municipal wastewater treatment facility, postal distribution center, and rapid transit maintenance yard became obvious. The abundant land and skilled workforce of the nearby mining town of Montless made it the principle choice and to some local opposition the town was annexed and construction began immediately. Today Montless is the unsung neighborhood pumping the lifeblood of the entire metropolis.

The days before vehicles and trains. This town on the edge of the desert thrived on wagon trains passing through and ranchers. The town has a one class room school top end of the street, livery stable, black smiths, a variety of stores, a Inn where stage coaches stops for tied travels to rest and several saloons.
There is a wagon train arriving from the west.
