Yep, I recognise the red button in the upper left corner (after looking very closely), but trainz isn't a game... it's a railway simulator.

... but it looks very good. Let's hope there's a patch soon to make Locomotion look like that :)

maybe using a refined RRT3 engine, Locomotion 2 could do (approximately) the same thing!

[though I really doubt there'll be a loco 2  ]

Trainz has it's drawbacks as well. But it is pretty to look at. Auran should re-name it: The Ultimate Railway Diorama Creator.

Not wishing to start an argument but if you think Trainz is good then take a look at Microsoft Train Simulator - I know of some work being done to allow MSTS models to be ported into Locomotion...

Visit http://www.train-sim.com and http://www.uktrainsim.com for some insight into MSTS

Trainz is decent but suffers from a lack of polish and focus, as well as being in the running for 'most inefficient game engine ever' (alongside BF1942 and Planetside).

MSTS is far more entertaining if you want to drive trains with a purpose, as in Trainz you more or less drive and make up your own fun as you go.

No kidding, BVE has the best sense of speed and motion of any game out there, not to mention the best sound by miles.
