one thing: is that CC? if it is, well good, if it isnt, i suggest you put some in somewhere

Yeah, there are some CC accents (cargo and water tower), and I will add more there.
Each building will have some CC, also the semaphore will have CC.

That looks much much better with the water tower and the other thingies in grey rather than the brown, this is really starting to get there :).

highly impressive! this is a great idea, there's few stations at the moment truly suitable for the tropical climate. it's looking really good. :)

How about animation support (like on mines' shafts)?
Can station tiles detect a train and change sprite?

Yeah, or a copper ore being loaded on a train with a steamshovel :wink:

A maize loading station, loosely based on

The big silo has probably better colour and shading, but it was too thick to be able to fit between rail, so I started working on the thinner one.
Please, think of the texture of the silo - which one is better?
Also, what do you think of texture of the building?

Take a look at a building and see how is next city station going to look like :)
The roof and fence of the building are based on a lumber mill, but it's not copy-paste, of course - I only picked the right colours.

Seems like I've got problems with aligning the <corridor-like structure located over a silo> building. To show you what I mean, I put second building, and you can see the <thing> doesn't fit. Could you please point me the problem?

P.S. I realized the only TRS wagon capable of hauling maize are boxcars, and I realized that after I made a station. However, it shouldn't be a problem with kind of a loading pipe (see image above)

You could give a version where it holds 3 tiles which are non-usable by trains for the size effect...
Otherwise looking good for a starting point.

Yeah I agree with what Lakie said, but other than that the drawings look v good.

How could I improve the loading pipe (how should it look like)?

The silo's look to dark, and out of place compared to the building, imo. The silo variant wich you have a CC colour stripe on looks much better to me. :)

Since the tanks are so large, it may be best to put them on non-track tiles.

You mean a big silo like the one at the bottom-right?

What to do if player doesn't use non-track tiles? How should the station look like? Plain platforms?

No plain platforms are ugly. Maybe for track tiles just the filling plant.

Or use the smaller/larger ones and put an angular platform under it.
