I want the old maps back!!!

when i didnt play OpenTTD yet (i played the old, normal version), there were all sorts of great maps in every different theme ( snow, desert).
how can i get those old maps back?? when i click a theme, and then click at new game, the scenarios appear...

1) Use the old version.
2) Copy the files in question (TRT??.SS?, IIRC) to your saves or scenarios folder.

Easy solution: Click 'New Game' -> Choose out of the 'Land Generator' dropdownlist 'Original' and do the same with 'Tree Algorithm'.

Or indeed if you have custom scenarios use Dalestan's approach.
