Can not find ttd file, MD5 of TRGT.GRF is incorrect problems

Can not find ttd file, MD5 of TRGT.GRF is incorrect problems

first, I can not fint the "ttd" file
second, I guessed it was sypesed to ge ./openttd, but i only get this message:

openttd-0.5.0-RC1]$ ./openttd
MD5 of TRGT.GRF is ****INCORRECT**** - File Corrupt.
Error: Cannot open file 'data/sample.cat'
openttd: openttd.c:88: error: Assertion `0' failed.
Avbrutt (SIGABRT) (core dumped)

waht shall I do?
ps: I am ofcause running linux

I did, there is a reson for why I am asking in this forum, it did not work

If you did then you need to supply more information. For example how did you install/compile openttd; where you put the data files. What does 'strace' tell you where the data files are looked for?

Through long experience, anything not mentioned as done as assumend not done, regardless of how obvious the diagnostic is or should be.

If you done it, say so.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
