I'm trying to recreate Britain as a 100% coverage 3x3 grid.

Yes, I am aware of that... Just think it would be a boring landscape... Although might give interesting gameplay

You have to use a big map setting and patch to support it!
Once I downloaded a map of my country and was disappointed. Our 4.000.000 city was no more than 6 tiles. :(

NEWS: The town road cleanup is in trunk now. :)

r11172: Codechange: rewrite of town road building and addition of the possibility to clean up unconnected road bits during the local road reconstructions.

i was confused because what you posted in the first post of this thread was already in trunk, but what now got in trunk is what you posted in this post, right? http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php? ... t=#p612112

is that post exactly what got into trunk now, or did something change since then? it would be nice if you explain the exact changes of the patch that got into trunk now :)

besides, congratulations to you for another included patch :)

The link points to the thing what got into trunk. I maintained about 3 patches in this thread, which are dealing with the town road layout.

1. The layouts itself [got in first]
2. Random town layouts [still at development]
3. Cleanup of absurd RoadBits [which got in recently]

Aside a few optimisations and fixes referring the town layouts got in.

At last. Thanks Skidd13.
Good work.
I think that I may never see,
A billboard as lovely as a tree.
Perhaps, unless the billboards start to fall,
I may never see a tree at all.
