Nice work, but IMHO the last stage of HQ should have a taller building and larger..

After all we have almost always, like billions of €/$/£ when we reach that stage, so more powerful building should apply..

This is just my humble opinion :D

Probably true, but I want to keep the new graphics similar to the originals...

Thanks!

And attached, GUI from trg1r.grf (ie. not the new GUI items from openttdd.grf). Along with newGUI v0.2 i think this covers all the basic GUI except bridges... Graphics by me and lordazamath.

I really want to see how it looks in game :o

Judging all your past work, it can only be one more master piece

LordAzamath: As I noticed that you used the same tree X4, I couldn't resist to change at least one of them. So now there are 2 trees instead of one. (Also I recolored 4 pixels which didn't seem to fit with the rest.) Hope you don't mind.
(EDIT: Something didn't look so well. Fixed. & smoothing edges between trees would make it look even better. Did some pixels there, but bored to do more.)

Ok guys, looking for some help for the GUI, I need:
small cartoony bus/train/ship/plane icons for the cloning and list management icons
small cartoony bridge icons for the new looks of the bridges
a conversion of red*star's waypoint (see the wiki) to sprites
(and a plane drawn, but it would be best if we wait till all of them are done to get a consistent style)

Anyone feel like doing any of these?

Maybe you can find some in the "Smaller graphics for portable devices" thread: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=36850

Just decided to try something different, inspired (but not copied) from Pikka's excellent DC3 in Av8, the Bakewell-Cotswald LB-3 (or the DC-3), my favourite plane. I'll make it known this is the only one I'm doing :P

If you could do a good / view I'll happily use that for the plane graphic in the GUI...

DanMack,

Would it be possible to put some of the stubbyness back in the DC3 wingtips? The old wings are much more realistic and you are calling it a DC-3.
Cheers,
Rob

Posting original sprites on forums would probably be a copyright violation... Not sure...
I can mail them to you if you wish.

OpenGFX - newGUI v0.3

Complete:
- Extra bridge legs
- Waypoint
- Title text
- Climate previews
- Cargo icons
- Selectors
- All buttons and cursors (both trg1r.grf and openttdw.grf) except...

To do:
- Bridge and aqueduct icons and cursors
- Dock and lock icons and cursors
- Helipad

393 sprites

And a couple of credits: waypoint by red*star, bulldozer by andythenorth and loads of icons and cursors by lordazamath.

Note: I have reused some of the graphics from openttdw.grf (eg. one-roads, rivers, widgets) - I haven't asked for permission but I don't think I need any, if anyone knows otherwise please tell me asap!

Just not to be unfair, I think the cursor parts of the sprites were done by someone else.. And some other things too..
EDIT: And did u also include the intro sprites and things?

All the intro screen sprites (the "openttd" text and climate previews) are included.

Apologies to those not credited, I am loosing track of who exactly did what :S
