Jetfoils are hydrofoils powered by jet engines - but sometimes the term is used for hydrojet propulsion where the jet squirts water rather than air.

Hovercraft, are of course, air propulsion, but rarely jet engines.

However, that said, you wouldnt find either trying to tackle going up rapids.

Enjoy. Toyland will be done later.
I think the goods crate can use some more detail at the sides. Otherwise, looking good!

Was just doing some playing around and thought the RV's could use a little detail (lights, grilles, etc) Below are the three buses, originals by Zephyris. Changed windows and added headlights mainly.

Personal preference, but I think they look a little more finshed :) Will do the trucks soon.

Also below is a mockup for some of the toyland equipment - a Ploddyphut Choo Choo, a mail van, 2 passenger coaches and a toy van. The wagons were based off of some of Zephyris' earlier cars :o)

Cheers.

More awesome stuff! The buses did need an overhaul... Really good to see toyland given some attention.

What about some generic passenger trams? Trams are part of the basic game now, and should be included. Just a proposal for 3 generations of generic, TTD style trams. Base started with Zephyris' bus.

This is the reason why Zephyris made his Generic Tram Set... Whether it will be included into core OTTD depends on developers though.

The generic tram set is based on the original graphics, and wouldnt match the new graphics style anyway... I think a set of trams to match the trains/trucks is a good idea, although not a top priority.

Ok, so my first grf is done... A replacement for the forest industry. Thanks to Zephyris for letting me use his graphics!

Enjoy, and feedback please!

Looks very nice. But it could get quite difficult to distinguish if a whole load of trees are growing next to it. Maybe it could have some sort of fence around like youd get IRL.

Nice! Can they carry 300k liters of oil? Can they carry a ton of coal, goods, gold, passengers, etc? No

I thought this the first time I saw a new forest industry made but isn't the graphic just one tile repeated over and over? If that's the case, you'd have fencing around every square tile of the forest would would look eugh!

Yes, I'm afraid you're right, one animated tile that is repeated... So making a fence, would look really odd... Probably would look odd anyway, atleast up here it's not normal with fenced forest...

lordazamath, I think the fruit plantation needs more fruit. The original had bananas.

Updated, fixed some odd red dots that popped up here and there, and a couple of purple ones too... Should be much better now!

Edit: Added pic

Trond, this is beautiful forest, but isn't cultural forests mostly conifer not hardwood? Atleast here we have mostly pine-forests...
EDIT: And to get rid of those red dots, you can use palconverter, which removes all the action colours from the image..

OK Lord, but I have removed them now, just changing a pixel here and there, and I believe it is corrected now, but nice to know on a later occasion. I'm not exactly a graphicswizard by any means :)

But then again, I like changing stuff, so I made a new buoy too... It changes the buoy on the water and on the toolbar...
