Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
How big are the Largest Planes going to be?
Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
currently planned are only the two aircraft types showed in the image. why? do you want larger ones?A321Pilot wrote:How big are the Largest Planes going to be?

Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
I would like them, yeah. And don't forget, Some Aircraft Wings and outer engines hang over the Edge of Runways.smallfly wrote:currently planned are only the two aircraft types showed in the image. why? do you want larger ones?A321Pilot wrote:How big are the Largest Planes going to be?
Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
I'd recommend getting several different types of aircraft. Smallfly, this game is going to be very in-depth, detailed and precise. Why then dumb it down to just "Smaller" and "Bigger" aircraft? I don't necessarily mean "30 aircraft" or "MUST HAVE AIRPLANE X AND Y" but at least some 5-6 options at any given timeframe.
My Scenarios:
Archipiélago Hermoso (Latest Release: Version 3.2)
Turnpike Falls (Latest Release: Version 0.91)
Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
Especially seeing as the Only Planes their are Jets, what about, say.... A DC-3?
Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
There are no "real" vehicles in P1SIM. Similarities to reality are a purely coincidencal.A321Pilot wrote:Especially seeing as the Only Planes their are Jets, what about, say.... A DC-3?
There are vehicle types, like car, truck, big plane, small plane, (medium) plane etc. Its a game. Not a simulation of the real world. The DC-3 is a historic plane and is absolutely useless in a logistics game since nobody would use it.

Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
It is still used to this day as a Freighter.
Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
really? where? in developing countries?A321Pilot wrote:It is still used to this day as a Freighter.

Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
i am willing to add a third type (size). this will be an aircraft with four engines. but the one shown in the attached image is already too big i think...Chrill wrote:but at least some 5-6 options

Canada (along with C-46, DC-4 and Lockheed Electra), Most of Africa, along with South America.smallfly wrote:really? where? in developing countries?A321Pilot wrote:It is still used to this day as a Freighter.
I think It looks all right if I'm honest. Don't forget, as long as the Gear is on the Taxiway, and there is enough Clearance either side, you are fine.smallfly wrote:i am willing to add a third type (size). this will be an aircraft with four engines. but the one shown in the attached image is already too big i think...Chrill wrote:but at least some 5-6 options

smallfly have you watched minitaur wunderland's series about the airport they did I think I might help with the way the air port works.

Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
Why not a fourth type, a very small one (maybe along the lines of the BN Islander), to connect islands and remote places? I've flown with one of these myself. It would add a regional factor to the game which people would appreciate.

You can probably understand every word he says. I need the Subtitle'ssmallfly wrote:yeah i watched those videos several timesAPDAF wrote:smallfly have you watched minitaur wunderland's series about the airport they did I think I might help with the way the air port works.
Possibly the ATR 42 or DHC-8.LocoMH wrote:Why not a fourth type, a very small one (maybe along the lines of the BN Islander), to connect islands and remote places? I've flown with one of these myself. It would add a regional factor to the game which people would appreciate.
Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
The smallest jet in my image is already a very small aircraft with only a "few" seats. Why adding an even smaller plane??!A321Pilot wrote:You can probably understand every word he says. Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
The fact that P1SIM won't support Real World vehicles puts me off a little bit if i'm honest, The planned features are great and all, but it draws away a little bit from being a simulation, If you are not able to (even by choice) simulate real world vehicles.

Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
I think the little jet is doing their job. But there is no really small plane as of now.Possibly the ATR 42 or DHC-8.

Re: P1SIM - New 2D Isometric Transport Simulation
Well, what do you mean by ""few"" seats? The jet on your picture looks like it has around 20 seats. The BN has 4-6 seats. The smallest jet in my image is already a very small aircraft with only a "few" seats. Why adding an even smaller plane??!
