FIRS Industry, food problem
Hi, it's my first time to use FIRS and I noticed a problem. Every cargo is transported from a industry, except food.
As you can see in this screenshot, trucks and a train are waiting to load the food, but it's not loading (their are there for over a year!), but the industry is producing food, and there tonnes of food waiting to be loaded.
What's hapening? It's a bug, or I missed something?

Click the little yellow plus. Maybe you enabled cargodist?

check the trains wagons: can they carry FOOD ? maybe they are NOT refittet and are still GOODS wagons ?

They are refitted to transport food. But I didn't know anything of that PLUS sign. So the next thing is to learn about cargodist, because I think there's the problem

That applies only to 1.4.0-betas and nightly OpenTTD. If you play 1.3.3 or earlier, you will not have cargodist.

To put it simple, if you want to disable cargodist only for industrial cargos, you set the distribution for "other cargo class" to "manual". If you want completely disable cargodist, you set each cargo class to "manual".sereszoli1991 wrote:It there any possible way to switch off cargodist, in-game?
As a side note: perhaps, cargodist should be disabled in the default configuration. I couldn't play without cargodist, but it's probably something that a new player doesn't want to learn immediately.

I have all the cargo on manual, still problem at food transporting; i gave it time, 2 years to see if things change.
I am new to the forum altough I've been playing from 2005 TTD and then OpenTTD.

What's different between "Lakefield Milk Products" and "Lakefield Milk Products Loading" ? Are you sure that the truck loads at that station which it's window showed ?
Also, mind you that once you turned off CargoDist, most probably those cargoes already waiting with a destination won't automatically load onto the trucks, if they have different destination that the truck destination.

As of r26341 that should no longer be the case. Here's a savegame
I use two stations. First station is by the road, there are going are vehicles with raw material and unload it. The Loading station it's just for final product vehicles that go via that Loading and get to the other part of the main station which is not by the road. Because of this, vehicles that wait to full load don't block the station for vehicles that unload the raw material

Uh, are you using some kind of patchpacks that alter cargo handling or what ?

i really don't know from where i got it...i was desperate for a opentdd with day lenght and i got this, about a year ago...
