you're right. then you have two files, one with the graphics, another called nfo. in the nfo are all informations.
You only have to change a little thing, called climate availability in Action0 .....
But it is not so easy.... i am learning by myself at the moment.... it is a hard job!

This is really a cool patch! Nice to see all these new trains and ships :)

I had one problem I stuck into: in the posts of this thread it states that you need to add

[newgrf]
0 = ..
1 = ..
2 = ..

and so on. But these numbers should not be included at all. Can you please adjust the opening post so people see it correct right away?

Also please update newgrf section here and in wikipedia.. I'd like to play with all newgrfs

Yes. Recent days have seen articulated engine support and cargo refitting with wagons work properly.

Also peter1138 works on newstations and newbridges(part of this already works, but the gui has static wording, and pillars are not finished)

Of course. There are plenty of patches enchancing the grf support. For example: Action 0 for town buildings by Belugas, Ariculated engines by Peter1138
