True, but the Ikea should accept/produce passengers too IMO.
Good idea.

Then you could place Ikea a few blocks away from the town border, and use buses to transport people shopping and back...

Then you'd need a supermarket and PC world...and a carpet selling place. Turn the outer-town IKEA on its own to a big ass shopping centre thingy..that way it might also warrent a small railway station for regional trains.

:P

That's what I'm doing now, expanding the shopping centre north of Vasa with more stores, a supermall in other words! :P

This is possible right now with BIG thanks to Aegir who, on my birthday today, has provided me with a blank station.grf consisting of 108 empty sprites to fill with even more new graphics. This means a great flora of parks, shops, terminus, and other interesting graphics for an enhanced gameplay! Thank you again Aegir! :P I have soo many graphics stored on my harddrive unused, but thanks to you I can finally start testing them out before a final public release of stuff! I have been working up the speed now as I'm drawing about 10-20 new objects each day! This is soo fun! :P

Can't wait for Oskar to complete some of his excellent work! :D

Well, in all honesty it's a truth with some modifications! :P I have numerous folders filled with materials of all kinds, tidbits from my completed graphics that I can reuse with some changes so it'll look different on other objects. For instance I made those two large 1x2 hotels showcased in that screen on the same day, but even though they look huge there isn't that much work involved. Lots of the floors are made using the cut'n paste feature, once one is done all there is left is to copy and place on top of each others. Still, it's important to at least make them look somewhat different so there are some details that needs to be added after all. The same goes for the IKEA building, made up of 1x1 tiles as it is. All of them the same size, and basically only requiring some different wall and roof works! :P

The bridges, oh yes! I promised some more! Give me a second...

Ahhh...thank you guys! :P

As promised yesterday I've compiled some other graphics I have. Some new bridges as well as some "eye-candy" graphics for you to enjoy!
I'm a huge fan of Zimmlocks airports, excellent work of him to be honest! I use both the small and the large airport, and I'm using specific station tiles to extend the airports for a better feel - graphics that are intended as "eye-candy" once that feature is implemented in the game.

The screen above show the smaller airport surrounded by station tiles/"eye-candy" as well as some minor changes to the airport itself such as the depot, (originally also made by Zimmlock as a vehicle depot, although minimized to a certain level), along with some aircraft "parking spots! :P

Also visible are some of the road tiles that have cars parked along the sides, eye-candy of course, and a new Radio Tower, just to mention a few.

There are also at least three new bridges available for roads and rails, all of them showcased above. And more to come!

"Internet Girl"

I met this girl today her screen name is Jenn198
and she seems really nice
I can tell by all the words she types
she lives real far away
she hopes that we will meet one day
and when she chats with me
there's no where that I would rather be
then connected to the internet
talking to some girl I've never met

She's my internet girl (She's my internet girl)
She might really be a guy
She's my internet girl (She's my internet girl)
She might really be a guy

She sent me a picture
but who knows maybe it's not really her
she says she's 5'5" has blonde hair and green eyes
she's probably 6'3" has sideburns or a goatee
I bet she's so fat
I'd die if of on me she sat
and how am I supposed to know
if she's a raging psycho
She's my internet girl (She's my internet girl)
She might really be a guy
She's my internet girl (She's my internet girl)
She might really be a guy
Nothing personal, SAC :D

I just wanted Dave to know, that you never know, who is behind the other computer :D

btw, Happy Birthday as well from me

None taken! :P But in Dave's case he's certainly on the safe side! :D

///Edit to add///

On another note, it pays off to post screenies here at TT-forums. I noticed that my previous screenie, the one with the small airport and the road with the street lights looked a bit too big to say the least! :P

Well, picky as I am I of course had to change it;
What do you think? An improvement or are there more to do? When at it I also removed the concrete siding and changed the grass ground to the ones I use according to the new trees!

The street lights themselves are used on highways close to towns - if anyone wonders.
