Thanks, I have more brewing as we speak!
Re: Zakos' Screenshots
If you haven't noticed, this map incorporates the auto mod. This next line is a chemical delivery to the nearest (and only) factory on the map, courtesy of CSX.

Re: Zakos' Screenshots
The plastic produced by the chemical works is finally being delivered to the auto parts factory. A new passenger line is also hosting Metra trains out of Blackwater.

Re: Zakos' Screenshots
Impressive screenshots...You put a lot of work into it. You work a lot faster then I am. I never noticed that this was the original automod, but I don't see any car-dealers in the city. Aren't they build yet, or can they be demolished by the player or the city ? I'm trying to work on the xml-file for the dealers to make them pop-up more frequently in the town and some can't be demolished...
Maybe you should post a video on youtube with your work ?

Re: Zakos' Screenshots
When placing the auto parts factory and the auto plant, I tried to keep to Zimmlock's original scheme, which the whole reason this map is so challenging. I only have one of each of those industries because while there are several farms, mines, and wells, there is only one refinery, factory, food processing plant, etc. The auto parts factory is only receiving plastic so far, so I haven't even made my way to the auto plant yet.

Re: Zakos' Screenshots
Sameway I play with my automod on the Serpent. Only one of the needed industries (carfactory, partsfactory etc...), it will keep the game tense and difficult At the moment only latex, oil and chemicals are transported, but I'm working on my large network in the background before all of the other cargo's can be transported...

Re: Zakos' Screenshots
Get ready, because I've been building up a stockpile of screenshots!
This first set shows off the joint iron ore/coal line. I'm proud of this in particular because both train types share the same track, and it also passes by the auto parts factory which allows the resulting steel line to share the track even more. It took quite a bit of planning though.

Thanks, more coming!
Here's Blackwater, which slowly became the largest city on the map.

I added 3 buses in Tavares and it exploded, quickly expanding to a population of 40,000.

Re: Zakos' Screenshots
Thanks, it's actually the reason why I've already been playing for 50 years. I spent so much time planning the layout and I didn't bother to pause
Re: Zakos' Screenshots
Glitch time!
A few weeks ago, I was playing yet another round of Feed Flintrock (because why not) sans mods, and I completely forgot about this weird glitch. I cleared out the roads in order to place a medium airport in the middle of Chinhead and it kind of... well... it's there, but not completely.
Notice how there are buildings where there should be tiles for the airport, and how there are roads built a bit too close to the airport, whereas normally the 8x8 area around it would normally be off-limits. The station seen in the window isn't random either. When you right click on the airport, it leads you to that specific train station on the other end of the map.
And when you try to remove it... For reference, here's a normal Medium Airport.
