Please help me with building good rail networks
i'm to this game, and i've read a number of guides, on how to build good rail networks blah blah,
but this is the best i can come up with that works 95% of the time
anyone got any tips for me to improve on this ?

Apart from the attached image being a jpg which may get your ass kicked in here, You seem to have attached an image that is mostly AOL, swearing in the message box and xp... It would have been easy just to crop it, expand the box, or grab a screenshot in game.
Since you have 2 seperate train routes to each farm, why do the rails need to connect for part of it?. They don't have to share the same platforms also, theres plenty of room to make fliud flow threw stations for each line.
Your entire network will only go as fast as the slowest section. In your example its just a short line from a to b, so you don't really need any super inivative layouts. Try going for something big, and then you will learn what doesnt work as it jams up,
