The Serpent A scenario for die hards.
Before you install The Serpent, BACKUP YOUR OBJDATA FILE.
Then Install the following packs in the order given below,
if not you ll have problems.
-1 Start with a clean (default) Objdata.
-2 Install the LTD1 Conrail Alco Pack.
-3 Install the LTD2 New Jersey transit Pack.
-4 Install the US Megapack and all patches (3.0.3 minimum)
-5 Install Digidampfman's German Station Pack (#1 Thru #4)
-6 Install the London and Port Stanley pack V2.0
-7 Install the PROVO Map Included with the CLW/Dekosoft UP pack.
-8 Then install "The Serpent"
If asked to overwrite data, the answer is YES, The Serpent will overwrite
your TRACK files and a few others.
In this scenario, you'll have to build very long lines.
to make it a little easier and less mouse clicking, I recommend the use of "Autopause".
The Build while pause option is also very nice.
You ll have PRR, Penn-Central, New Haven, Conrail, CSX and Amtrak,
and for your city systems New Jersey Transit busses and New York city
metro's. no airplanes, and only the latest trucks and VW busses to have
more train slots.
----------
The scenario starts in 1920 there are no competitors.
It is designed for fun, not a real reprensentation of the PRR railroad.
----------
The map is equiped with the boundarys to make sure you follow the right path.
Most tunnel entrances are precut in to the mountains and hills.
You are free to build the way you desire.
I played this map twice and had best results when running
in one direction on each side of the serpent.
So, to go from Westfield to Laysville you exit trough the mountain and
return along the waterside.
Also, the best way to enter and exit the oil plataeu is next
to the Westfield iron ore mine.
----------
You'll find a few gadges for extra scenery, sounds and buildings.
----------
Credits;
I would like to thank Plastikman for his exhausting work on this scenario.
Lighthouse as being a good guineepig.
Best regards, and have fun
