Banks?

Post by Buss001 »

Hi
Im a bit worried because in my last game there are no banks in year 1945.
Is it normal ? in my other game i had 2 banks in 1938?
Should i wait or whats the reason i had no banks in the game?

I think the banks appear when the towns reach a certain number of people
But exactly ???

I also believe you have to achieve a certain overall rating in the game. Since I use my subsidiaries to do the dirty jobs, I get banks way earlier in the temperate climate.

I did some research and as usual in this:
http://i-want-a-website.com/about-tt/ttfaq05.html#5-4
Constant production industries

Some industries also put out a constant amount of raw materials each month and never run the risk of shutting down. The temperate climate bank, for example, puts out about 54 bags of valuables each month (it might vary slightly).Unfortunately, these industries aren't around in the beginning of the game. You have to wait for two or more banks to be constructed on their own. The banks will only build in cities with more than 1,200 people. (You could, of course, build them in the Scenario Editor if you don't want to wait.)

As Hyronymus said maybe you should try to do 'dirty jobs' like subsidaries or/and put some buses into town to make it growing faster

I still think it's a random thing, even when all your towns get at 1200

Well , if you want more: rename, edit/add banks, rename and there you are

 You don't need to rename files .. just load it in editor (it is possible with TTDPatch) and then save it as a savegame (the same , just need to push and hold Ctrl key before clicking on save menu)

This is in the TTO forums so there's (probably) not an editor, no other climates (except mars, but that's just different graphics) and most importantly, no Patch!!
